Light Plan supplies designer, innovative lighting solutions and accessories to interior designers, property owners, landscape designers and a growing end-consumer customer base. They have been growing, and fast, so needed a new space designed as a retail store as well as a product showroom.  The new space, designed by the Spaceworks team is just that.

All fixtures and fittings were custom-designed so the store is flexible and ever-changing.  It now has the ability to be changed out on a regular basis, amplifying customer’s interest and curiosity so they visit regularly.

Set in warm, natural finishes, the lights are displayed in a gallery-style setting so they all have their own space to shine and without being overshadowed by anything else.

A workspace placed in the centre of the store emulates a real working area and an opportunity to showcase product in situ.  Consultant’s desks and consultation hubs are weaved throughout the space and provides ample opportunity to feature lighting products.  So, incredible pendants for sale are hung above desks, over consulting tables and even over the boardroom.

The boardroom even became a showroom by installing shelving and connecting a plethora of lighting solutions.

To ensure LightPlan retained its branding in-store in a subtle non-obtrusive way, the Spaceworks team injected LightPlan brand colours by sourcing a carpet from Bolon in Australia and creating a triangular coloured pattern which models the Lightplan brand.  This bespoke placement and design of the carpet pulls the entire store together.

The store is now a heavenly space for lighting inspiration and the new fit-out has increased Light Plan’s foot traffic into the store.
